GREAT Experience
We develop projects both with strict adherence to the customer’s drawings and specifications, and through our own design based on the customer’s guidelines. Very often our experience enables us to suggest, in dialogue with the customer’s engineers, modifications to their original concepts in order to improve performance and reduce costs.
INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGY
In-depth knowledge of metals, modern CAD-CAM software systems, a constantly updated machine park, and careful management of resources allow us to offer effective solutions from both a technical and economic point of view, with particular attention to quality and delivery times.
MAXIMUM FLEXIBILITY
The flexibility of our workshop, combined with a smart raw materials warehouse, allows us to rapidly produce prototypes or large series, and to carry out projects in the field of small mechanical components or special parts, using a wide variety of steel and copper types.
We produce a large range of Archimedean spiral springs, including violin F-holes springs in stainless steel, sorbitic, structured and silicon steel with thickness from 0.15 to 2 mm and width up to 80 mm. The total length of the bands can be in excess of 18 m and more if required. We offer, for those type of springs, special experience in the evaluation of fatigue resistance.

The Workshop
Constantly updated to the growing need for precision, speed and customer economics, the workshop is organized and managed to be flexible and respond to urgent needs of prototypes, technical modifications, speed for production of high and constant quality products volumes.
The workshop includes electronic and mechanical winding machines, machines for manual operations, finishing, bending, multislide, torsion machines. Moreover: heat treatment ovens, machinery for flattening and Archimedean spiral springs, presses up to 50 tons.
Quality control
Mollificio Felsineo adopted and carefully follows the quality control methods imposed by its certification ISO 9001.
With a well-equipped test laboratory and continuously trained staff, the number of defective parts in large-scale projects is maintained at the level of 0.2%. Mollificio Felsineo, in cooperation with its suppliers, respects the rules imposed by the RoHS directive and is therefore an estimated partner to the electro and electronic industry.
