We operate both with strict adherence to the customer developed design or samples and with own development on the customer’s guidelines. Very often our experience enables us to suggest, in connexion with the customers engineers, modifications oriented to improve performance and cost.

Flexibility
Our workshop is oriented to flexibility and enables us to produce quickly prototypes as well as develop projects of small and special precision metal parts with various types of steel and copper.
We produce a large range of spiral springs, including violin F-holes springs in stainless steel, high or low carbon steel, special textured, sorbitic steels, with thickness from 0,15 to 2 mm and width up to 80 mm.
The total length of the bands can be in excess of 18 m.
We offer, for those type of springs, special experience in the evaluation of fatigue resistance
Spiral springs
Mollificio Felsineo produces flat springs for the most different applications with the following technological limits:
Materials: stainless steel, high or low carbon steel, special textured, sorbitic steels, copper alloys, brass, bronze.
Thickness from 0,10mm to 5 mm
The extreme limitation is dictated by the level of 60 Tons of our press.
Flat springs
For a large variety of applications, we produce complex custom shaped springs on automated machines capable of max 12 controlled axes, using wire in stainless steel, high or low carbon steel, special textured, sorbitic steels, copper alloys, brass, bronze.
Wire diameters between 0,2 and 4 mm.
Shaped springs
We produce with competence all types of currently used compression springs in shapes like : cylindrical, conical, barrel, hourglass, constant or variable pitch, using stainless steel, high or low carbon steel, special textured, sorbitic steels, copper alloys, brass, bronze
Wire diameters between 0,15 and 20 mm
External spring diametrs between 2 mm and 200 mm and length until 1000 mm.
Compression Springs
We produce with competence all types of currently used traction springs, using stainless steel, high or low carbon steel, special textured, sorbitic steels, copper alloys, brass, bronze
Wire diameters between 0,15 and 20 mm
External spring diametrs between 2 mm and 100 mm and length until 1000 mm.
Traction springs
We produce with competence all types of currently used torsion springs , using stainless steel, high or low carbon steel, special textured, sorbitic steels, copper alloys, brass, bronze
Wire diameters between 0,15 and 10 mm
External spring diameters until 100 mm and bands to 10 mm x 2 mm.

The Workshop
Constantly updated to the growing need for precision, speed and customer economics, the workshop is organized and managed to be flexible and respond to urgent needs of prototypes, technical modifications, speed for production of high and constant quality products volumes.
The workshop includes electronic and mechanical winding machines, machines for manual operations, finishing, bending, multislide, torsion machines. Moreover : heat treatment ovens, machinery for molding and violin F-holes springs manufactury, presses up to 50 tons.
Quality control
Mollificio Felsineo adopted and carefully follows the quality control methods imposed by its certification EN ISO 9001-2008.
With carefully maintained workshop machines, a well equipped test laboratory and continuously trained staff, the number of defective parts for the whole production is maintained at the level of 0,2%.
Mollificio Felsineo, in cooperation with its suppliers, respects the rules imposed by the RoHS directive and is therefore estimated partner to the electro and electronic industry.
